The original issue seems resolved either way – whether or not "Deactivate Native Canvas" is checked. I tried them both. Was this simply a problem of the older version of PS. Again, why wasn't PS and LrC not updated like my other Adobe apps?

How is that possible when I pay the monthly fee to use PS and up until recently, iit was eegualrly upgraded online. I just checked and my PS app was not installed on my computer so I just did that. I don't understand, doesn't Adobe notify of opgrades to their apps anymore? I'd appreciate if you could explain how this happened.. Perhaps I did something from my end to create this situation. i just turned on again "Use Graphics Processor" and the problem did NOT reappear. Does that mean the probem is solved and can you explain what caused the problem in the first place? I appreciate all your help and in this case I wish I were more technically proficient.

I turned off the Graphic Processr as suggested and the problem disappeared. When I turned it on again, the problem returned. Eon't I be losing many PS feartures if I keep it turned off? Is there anything else I can do to restore those PS features. Thank you for your help.

I really don't know what screen shots you are asking for? I've used PS now for 30 years to successfully edit my photography but am not very technical. I can't understand why this is happening. There mut be something I turned off or on that is creating this image blackout perhaps in the Prefences?

I am on a Mac with latest OS Sonoma and recently have had trouble when generating an Lrc Gallery which adds my unwanted name automatically at left lower side of each image file as it uploads files from Library. How can I stop that?

So the solution to the problem is well known. For many years I had a good connection with my ISP using DW CS6. Now my ISP who was told I am using the current Adobe DW immediately informed me that ALL of his clients using DW now connect with Filezilla. All this time, I have been made to feel incompetent or that there was an ISP problem. Remember, I had to obtained the fix outside the Adobe Support Community, but when I mentioned it, everyone quickly chimed in. For the benfit of other DW clients not technical like myself, I HOPE YOU WILL NOT DELETE THIS REPLY that perhaps only an outsider is able to make. It will only save you time and trouble and end this long standing Adobe cover up.

Yes, I would tend to agree, but I am in drect contact with my ISP (the hands-on person) and I'm being told everything is fine from their end. My ISP is recommending I by-pass DW and use a FileZilla ftp app. Is that a viable option? I scrapped DW CS6 when I moved up to Mac OS Monterey so I need to make this work or cancel my contract with Adobe and let my site remain frozen as it. It's an option I am considering which I find quite amusing. There is an end to everything.

• My ISP has verified that the screen shots of all my settings in Dreamweaver CC are correct. • Also, attached screenshot of Mac OS Montery shows correct firewall settings verified by Apple. Would appreicate it if someone has an idea as to why I am still unable to access my ISP and am getting the attached error message. Thank you for you help!

If that was directed at me – and not at Ben who deserves it – I really don't have extrordiary patience, but what can I do when my ISP is not available during the weekend and I'm all set up in DW 2021 ready to go using all the old parameters, that I've double-checked, and still don't connect to the server. I know it's probably just a click away from connecting and I can wait because I have nothing at all to upload to that server. In the meantime, what I discovered already about Big Sur is that it doesn't seem terribly friendly with 'drag and drop' probably because it's not a function of cell phones. Also Apple is making it easier to hold your docs in their monotized Cloud which I refuse. If they could, I think they would make saving to external HDs obsolete or they could buy out and close all the major HD manufacturers. Apple certainly has sufficient capital to do that. That's what aquisitions are about these days.

I hate to tell you this, but I had major Mac OS corruption that were causing me several problems including the one I asked for help from the DW community. Finally, I got a dreaded white circle with slash error message on my monitor and the Apple store in San Francisco, after much probing, reinstalled a current version of the OS software and all my problems were resolved. I did not realize that Yosemite was no longer Apple supported so when similar problems as had been earlier resolved with online help I found out the hard way was no longer available. Apple should do a better job of notyfying its customers when an OS is no longer supported. Thanks to all and sorry to have bothered you unnecessaily.

Thank you for your reply; however, importing my site settings is no longer an issue. I discussed above that I had already done that. However, I still have not recreated my DW CS6 website in DW 2021. Hope to be able to do that before my 2-weeks DW CC trial period expires.
